"Keep our beaches clean" poster contest Winner
The City of Miami Beach, in partnership with Surfrider Foundation, ECOMB, A Better Miami Beach and GreenRoks has sponsored a poster contest in an effort to educate residents and visitors about the harmful effects of litter on our beaches, and encourage beach goers to keep the beaches clean by disposing of their trash properly.
I created four different concepts with the intention of creating awareness of this problem with a positive and appealing message, and yes, one my posters won the competition among fellow florida graphic designers and artists.
The winner poster, urges ‘‘Show Some Love to Your Beaches! Don’t Litter’’ and shows hands cradling sand packed into the shape of a heart against a sunny ocean-and-sand background.
