I created this poster with the idea of portraying the cycle of poverty and the solution to it. The image shows a child working and seeing his reflection on a mirror, however, his reflection is of a child going to school instead of working. My attempt, was to show the viewers that many children are currently working, missing on their childhood and see a good education and future as an illusion, when in reality, education is the key and true answer to ending this problem. Child labour affects millions of children worldwide and, even though, many would mistakenly believe their work contributes to their countries’ economies, the reality is that in the long-term, countries would be better off if they send children to school and provide them with a good education; an education that would offer them a better future and the opportunity to succeed in life.

Fresh, clean, water is one of the most precious resources in Africa. Unfortunately, more than a billion Africans don’t have access to it, and those who do, live with 20 liters a day for drinking, cooking, washing, feeding animals and farming (In the Western World each person uses an average of over 300 liters every day.) The need for water in Africa is so desperate that 2 million children die every year because they’re given dirty water to drink. Clean water in Africa means health, prosperity and development. In the West, it’s just something that comes out of a tap.
This poster was created to make people in the West and the rest of the world aware of how scarce water is in Africa

As a foreign graphic designer, i was asked to choose a country and it’s corresponding word and design a poster that depicted my opinion of the two (in my case > word :: Revolution > Country :: Cuba).
"Every Revolution begins with the power of an idea, but ends when the only idea left is power"

Condoms protect you against sexually transmitted diseases, they are cheap and it only takes a second to put one on. However, a lot people rather risk their lives than wear one. To many, it is a sign of bravery or empowering not to put a condom on, but the only person hurt is themselves or their partners. Even more, the highest number of people who are unconsciously HIV positive are heterosexual, not gay, and they are from developed countries. Regrettably by the time they find this out it is too late.
This poster was created to raise awareness of the foolhardiness of not wearing a condom. It is targeting everyone in all parts of society, not just the ones normally targeted.
